Sir Its nice to see that for the first time in Punjab that an MLA can be accessed on an email. Punjab needs forward looking politicians like you an Mr.Manish Tiwari. I have worked in Gurgaon and i know only one thing that our Punjab has been left behind. Asi naam de he Punjabi reh gaye haan. The development in Delhi NCR and industries there have led to increase in development of a common man residing in those areas. After coming back from Gurgaon, i have noticed only this that Badals and Akalis are making fool of people here. I am not saying all this because you are from Congress and you would love to hear this but this is practical. had u been any Akali politician i wud have written the same email as this. The speech of Mrs Badal in parliament is jsut a formality to display on the media that Mrs Badal too can speak with guts. Punjab`s fiscal situation is grim and no development can be expected. I would request you to engage central govt and do something for Punjab. Sir, i dont know whether you would read my mail or not but if u personally read this mail then take up this issue which is mentioned below in common man`s interest. Akali govt launched local bus service in Jalandhar and promised that the same would be done in Ludhiana by 15 Aug 2008. why has this not been implemented in Ludhiana yet ? Cant they take this petty decision to launch a bus service ?
I am a frustrated citizen of Ludhiana, i have seen Gurgaon where long flyovers are constructed in few months but here in Ludhiana a 100 meter flyover on Gill Chowk has taken more than 10 months and it is still in the initial stages of construction.
Thanks and
Regards,
Tarun (Ludhiana)

Respected sir,
Apropos your letter to Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Member Parliament. You have done well and appreciated a lady for speaking at the floor of the House. At the same tine, you have killed two birds with one stone, scolding her in reminding the difference between “kathni & karni”, “karam & dharm”. She will certainly twist her conscience and advise her party to support the Congress party for implementation of its policies to some extent during the next five years tenure. Otherwise the politics is so dirty, that the Opposition parties oppose for the sake of opposition.
I am sure you will continue to do so in future also.
With regards
(Jassel)

My dear Khanguraji, Jai Hind & greetings from THE EGALITARIAN FORTNIGHTLY
I have gone through your letter addressed to Mrs. Harsimrat BadaL. Hats off to your broadmindedness, objectivity and plainspeak that simply make you an unlike politician who stands apart in the crowd. Today, the state and the country need politicians like you who have the guts and grit to be fair, objective and morally strong enough to cut accross the party lines and rise above the petty personal consuderations. Please enlarge and strengthen your school of thought because country expects alot from each one of us which we are, unfortunately, failing to deliver. Pl. keep it up. May you be blest with more fortitude to traverse the tougher terrains towards truth and negotiate successfully the greater challenges on the path of uprighteousness and truthfulness.
Regards,
Sharda
